Step Up to Social Work

Welcome

Be the difference

Thank you for visiting the Step Up to Social Work application site.

The application window for Cohort 6 has now closed, thank you to everyone who has shown an interest.

If you have submitted an application we will be in contact due course.

Candidates need to apply to join a regional partnership and you will find the information you need to decide which regional partnership is right for you on this site. Please only make one application. If you submit more than one application we will process the first application that you submit and withdraw any subsequent applications.

Please click here to access a map listing the different regional partnerships and the geographic areas they cover. The map also contains links to sites where you can find out further information regarding the Step Up programme in a specific location.

Some regional partnerships require a driving licence and some do not. If you do not currently hold a driving licence, please only apply for a regional partnership where a driving licence is not required. Click here for details of which locations require a driving licence.

As part of the application process, if you hold any overseas qualification you will be asked upload a copy of them so please ensure you have relevant electronic versions to hand prior to submitting your application.

Please be aware that if you are invited to attend the assessment centre stage, you will need to produce original copies of certificates for GCSE English Language and Maths, Degree and any Post Graduate qualifications, together with originals of all identification documents. Failure to do so may result in you not being able to complete the assessment centre so if you do not have original copies, please order replacement certificates now to avoid the risk of being turned away and unable to complete the assessment centre.

Once you have decided on the regional partnership that you want to apply to join please click on Apply page and find the relevant regional partnership from the list to start the online application process. The closing date for submitting an application is 12 Noon on Monday 18th March 2019.
